BIOGRAPHY: Oscar Martinez-Tirado is the leader of the Sarcoma Research Group at IDIBELL. His laboratory focuses on uncovering the biological mechanisms involved in the progression of developmental sarcomas and the discovery of new potential treatments that can improve the survival of sarcoma patients. Among their achievements highlights the recent first description of the Ewing sarcoma methylome, which opens new windows of opportunity for the development of new drugs to treat this aggressive tumor.
