Ana Peiró

Ana Peiró Pozo is a medical oncologist and senior pharmaceutical industry executive with more than 20 years of experience in Medical Affairs and oncology. She holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid and is a specialist in Radiation Oncology. Throughout her career, she has held medical and leadership positions at several leading pharmaceutical companies, including Lilly, Merck Serono, AbbVie, Astellas, Roche, Biogen and Ipsen. She currently serves as Head of Oncology Medical Affairs at AstraZeneca Spain, where she contributes to advancing oncology innovation, clinical development and patient care. Her professional expertise spans oncology, clinical research, medical strategy and the development and implementation of innovative approaches to cancer treatment, with a particular interest in precision oncology and clinical trials.
