Gabriel Capellá is the group leader of Hereditary Cancer Group in Oncobell, a multidisciplinary research group which has been working in a clinical setting for over 20 years (Hereditary Cancer Programme of the Catalan Institute of Oncology) which provides genetic advice on cancer and molecular tests. The group’s research focusses on improving healthcare for patients with a personal or family history of cancer or when their tumours have been used to guide treatment decisions when disease variants have been detected and/or variants of unknown relevance in the germline.
