Victor Moreno
Victor Moreno is group leader of the Colorectal Cancer Group at Oncobell, Professor of Preventive Medicine at the University of Barcelona and Director of the Cancer Prevention and Control Program at the Catalan Institute of Oncology. His main research area is cancer prevention, with special interest in colorectal cancer (CRC). He performs studies on genetic and molecular epidemiology aiming to identify biomarkers and develop risk models useful for population stratification strategies that should lead to improved screening and therapeutics. He also develops biostatistics and bioinformatics tools for such aims.
